the many facilities available that's within walking distance

the beach was very inviting but needs a clean. the bar by the beach closes too early but the staff were accommodating. the blankets were not thick enough

We had a relaxing and comfortable room location. Breakfast was good! Really good. Many varieties of food to choose.

Staff were all polite from check-in to check-out. The male receptionist gave us a good room location and it was really nice esp. I’m with pwd. Relaxing place. Clean room.

A beautiful and well-equipped resort with friendly staff

We loved everything about the hotel! The staff were all incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating. We arrived a few hours early and were prepared to wait before we could check in but the staff had our room ready after brunch. They even gave us a ground floor room to accommodate our mom as she can't climb stairs. The food at the restaurants was delicious, and there were plenty of options at the breakfast buffet. The spa is also excellent; I had the best massage while I was there!

A minor problem, but we noticed that the drain in the shower backed up into the drain underneath the sink, which caused suds from our bubble bath to cluster around the drain underneath the sink. Our aircon also stopped working on one evening, but the staff dealt with it very efficiently.

Bluewater Maribago is a classic beach resort with superb service.

Buffet breakfast was very good with many options. Dinner at D Cove restaurant was also goo. Room is spacious and clean. I love the beach front.

The beach- The white sand is just at the beachfront; there are so many sea urchins on the way to the sandbar across.

A convenient stop or sleep over when you have to catch a flight because we all know traffic in Cebu is nuts. If not, could not really connect to the vibe. It might be a resort and maybe some people can enjoy real holiday here...but for me it all had a bit too much of a factory feeling. Lots of seminars lots of activities and people rushing in and out. All considered. It is ok.

You should not announce shuttle service if this means just calling a black cab and paying 1000Pesos. Just day "we can arrange transport for you"

Nice but maybe avoid the beach when an event is going on

staff are friendly and welcoming. The welcome drink at the reception was appreciated in the hot weather as was the friendly and courteous staff. Staff always greeting you as you pass. The room was impressive with beautiful bathroom and dressing area. We tried the Spa and it was a great experience. the staff in the restaurant work really hard and accommodated my husbands request to greet and sing me happy birthday complete with mini cake. it was a nice touch together with the live duet singers made dinner in the evenings a nice ambience. The food was great in all the outlets, especially the spiced cajun calamari from the oyster bar - delicious! the buffet choice was impressive and beautifully presented. lots of choices of both local and international food.

The quality of the beach area isn’t as good as before, with polluted algae coming through into the water from neighbouring properties. There were a few unwelcome visitors in the room in the form of centipedes due to all the trees around - they are pretty harmless just not something you wish to drop on your head while getting ready - one nearly did! we love going to the beach however there was a corporate team building event happening on the same day and the beach is too small for such an event with too loud commentary and music. They probably didn’t need the use of a microphone as the group number was small, and the people using the microphone kept shrieking into it when playing their games. it somewhat ruined the “relaxing” ambience of the beach and other guests kept having to tell the event staff to lower the volume of the music after lunch once all the games were completed. during the week the resort was less busy, but became very busy during the weekend with all the day trippers so places especially the pool by the restaurant were very crowded.

a very pleasant and comfortable stay

I loved the authenticity, the pools, the layout, the beach was amazing too, most of the staff were amazing and were very hospitable, especially Tony at the reception and Lars in the dining area.

when we checked in after 24 hours of travelling, we weren’t asked how was our journey was and I just found the whole checking in quite stressful. I was asked for my passports but my husband had walked away just admiring the reception area, to be asked we need both passports. it was clear my husband had walked away.

Superb

Room was very spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms are also bigger than usual resort rooms. Service was great and prompt, though choices can get limited with room service food/drinks.

Beach was bit murky and not as fun to swim around in. Pools can get pretty full during peak hours (after breakfast).

Quite a lot of kids but not ridiculous. We don't have kids and try to avoid them but wasn't bad. Good place if you have kids I would imagine.
